Midwife Training
Our 2 midwives were recently trained in Neonatal Resuscitation and the "First 1000 Days of Life" care. They were able to use their training to care for an unresponsive baby, who is now doing well. Praise God.

In May we had the Orange Foundation visit us with some amazing gifts and resources for our children and school family.

April: A visit from BMA: Boky Manatona Ankizy who taught library skills and gave all the children a book. They were very excited!

Easter Week Bible Assemblies and Easter Garden at Lake Mantasoa School.
STEM Learning
More STEM fun, with making waterwheels and windmills to lift a bucket, whilst learning about renewable and non-renewable energies. Also making and testing a sawdust cooker.
Weekend Camp
Lots of fun with Year 8 and 9 on a weekend camp and field trip to Andasibe.
New Waterproofs
We have made waterproofs for all our pupils to help them through the rainy and cyclone season. Many walk a long way and then get a boat to come to learn!
Our supportive Parents
Lake Mantasoa School parents are wonderful- they give time to help make a terrace for more teacher’s accommodation and bring firewood to cook meals!
